In the Star Fleet criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups; the Star Fleet Security and Investigative Service (SFSECIS) who investigate crimes and the Star Fleet Judge Advocate General’s Corps (SFJAG) who prosecute the offenders.
