The USS Normandy is one of the last serving Endeavour class heavy cruisers. After almost 30 years of service, she usually operates domestic missions within the Federation. However, she is still a formidable ship and finds herself in some interesting situations from time to time. The Normandy is a special Free Thread in which anyone can write a lower decker. Every month there'll be a thematic mission set by the Admiralty and announced as a Captain's Log and players can choose to use it in their stories or ignore it completely. With more than 1,000 crew on board, the number of positions you can play is almost limitless. The only rule is: you cannot play a command character or make anything drastic. If you do, however, it will be reset in the next month. Other players might choose to follow suit with your ideas or ignore them completely, everything is fair play. You can play the bartender, a hairdresser, an electrical repair guy, turbolift maintenance, Security grunt, Lab technician, the sky is the limit! You can have fun on the holodeck, or just chill out on the Lounge, or do Warp coils maintenance. The Normandy has her own group, despite being a Free Thread, just in case you just want to follow her and read what others write. Everyone is welcome and we hope this will make for a fun, creative and fulfilling experience. The USS Normandy is part of ASR and there are roleplaying units that would love to have more players. What began as an anomaly near Simperia now points to a pattern: civilian supply lines quietly altered, aid misdirected, and instability engineered from within. All trails lead to a Cardassian logistics hub operating under legitimate cover. With tensions rising around the Accession, the USS Normandy must investigate without drawing attention, uncover who is pulling the strings—and decide whether to cut the thread or follow it deeper.
