TACFLEET Notes:

One of the first Klingon vessels to make use of D-Warp, the Fek'lhr-Class Battlecruiser is intended to be the first 'arrow' of the Klingon Defence Forces, it, and its accompanying squadron of B'Rel/QoghvaQ or Q'Vort class ships which can 'ride along' in D-Warp with it, can swiftly penetrate enemy territory to devastate enemy rear areas or be the first Battle Group to meet hostile forces who invade Klingon Space.

Its maximum velocity in D-Warp is through Iota Band, which puts it somewhat behind the latest Federation ships, but this is still an impressive performance from the Klingon Empire's first major D-Warp-capable warship and a timely reminder to those who would discount the technological capabilities of the Klingon Empire.

Intended as the first in a series of D-Warp capable ships and the backbone of the future Battlecruiser force, the Fek'lhr is being widely produced at many locations within the Klingon Empire with the intention of rapidly building up its numbers and also to begin familiarizing the warriors of the Imperial Defence Forces with D-Warp technology and capabilities.
