Smaller ASR Insignia

Dear Delegates, fellow players:

It's been a fine tradition in ASR to award Club-wide and Fleet-wide recognitions to units and players at every Round Table, a tradition that my predecessor in this Chair briefly revived some years ago, to our delight.

We won't be having them this time, because I am sure we are all aware of the amazing work we have been doing on our units. Indeed, it would be an award to almost everyone here (and those who couldn't join us in this RT).

The Starfleet Council, however, has deemed appropriate to award not one, but two very special recognitions that have been very long overdue. It's not a tie, but a double award to correct a space-time anomaly, Voyager-class.

It is my pleasure to award Special Honors to Mr Jeff Jenkins and Mr Scott Lusby.

JEFFREY JENKINS
--------------------

Mr Jenkins has been a staple of ASR almost from the beginning, gaining recognition as an excellent writer and an admin player, CO, Fleet Commander, CINCSF, COMSFE, Webmaster and Secretary, among other positions.

His compromise, dedication and contributions to ASR are too numerous to count and too big to describe with simple words. He has been an anchor when the weather was rough, a lighthouse when the seas were troubled and a quasar when the astrogation charts were broken. And has been so for many years.

SCOTT LUSBY
---------------

Mr Lusby has been a brilliant member of this Club from day one, and from his first command commission he inspired us all to grow and become better. He's been an exemplary player, CO, Fleet Commander, CINCSF and many other positions. His contributions, again, are too numerous to enumerate, and his influence will live with us forever, because you can never really retire from ASR.

ANNOUNCEMENT
-------------------

Therefore, I, Admiral P'Nerow, CINCSF, herein award Mr Jeff Jenkins and Mr Scott Lusby Alt.StarFleet.Rpg Special Honors and order that his names be permanently recorded in ASR History by reclaiming his position in our Honors Hall and issue the order to SFE to commission two more GOTO-class starships:

- USS Coffman, NCC-011004 in honor to D'Maris Coffman (1998)
- USS Fontaine, NCC-011008 in honor to Christine Fountaine (1998)
- USS Goto, NCC-001504 in honor to Masako Goto (2003)
- USS Rickards, NCC-001604 in honor to Greg Rickards (2004)
- USS Fainges, NCC-002904 in honor to Karen Fainges (2017)
- USS Murphy, NCC-003504 in honor to Sean Murphy (2023)
- USS Jenkins, NCC-013510J in honor to Jeff Jenkins (2023)
- USS Lusby, NCC-013510L in honor to Scott Lusby (2023)

Please, join me in congratulating Jeff and Scott!

As I said before, these have been long overdue, guys.

Thank you for all your work, all the inspiration and guidance. We hope you'll keep working with us for many years! (Or to return soon, as it may apply!).

And after this, and having no business in the Agenda, the Chair will entertain motions to adjourn this Round Table.

Respectfully submitted,
David S. de Lis, CINCSF and Chair
