> "The Issahi offensive will begin in 2 hours. As I made clear to<br>
>Captain Jilithi we will not be participating." To their credit both<br>
>officers remained impassive. "Once the shields go down I want you to lead<br>
>a heavily armed team of primarily security and engineering into the base<br>
>and retrieve our shuttle. If you can't escape with it, scuttle her. At<br>
>the same time find out as much as you can about anything you come across.<br>
>As I said, we are not at war with the Reavers and I don't want us to be<br>
>the ones to start it. If you are attacked defend yourselfs. But your<br>
>goal is to find the shuttle and return with it. Are there any questions?"<br>
Tarrant thought about the situation quickly, realizing there were many
factors involved which they had little to no control over once the invasion
started. What's worse, there was almost no information as to the Reaver
base. All they knew was that some type of transporter had beamed the
Shuttlepod (and assumingly it's passenger) into the base some hours
ago... even though the crew manifest registered that all FEYNMAN
crew were aboard and accounted for.
"Sir, have the Issahi given us any intellegence information regarding
the Reavers, their base, weapons... anything useful?"
<NRPG: Andy?> | |||
"If the Reavers have done any testing on the Shuttlepod which would
use the impulse or warp engines we should be able to follow the signature
right to it once we're inside the base." Thought the CEO aloud. Zane
nodded. | |||
<Ensign Dunnon to Lt. Koreth>
"Koreth here, what is it Ensign?"
<I've found something here which you might want to see.>
"Sum it up for me Dunnon, I'm a little busy here."
<Well, someone downloaded a lot of information from our
computer into data crystals just before the Shuttlepod was stolen.
It was well hidden, and I wouldn't have even picked it up
except I was running a class 2 diag...>
Dunnon had a mouth that just wouldn't stop.
So Zane interrupted. | |||
"Ensign, this is Captain Zane. What information was extracted?"
the tone in his voice was borderline anger.
<Sir.. um, it appears to be specs on the Feynman, Starfleet
activities, bases, outposts, other ships....>
"Understood." | |||
NRPG: Do our orders remain the same? :)
Ah, something I can sink my teeth into!
I'll finish up my end of the meeting once some
answers are forthcoming.
Respectfully,<br> | |||
