Introduction
Welcome to the homepage for DEEP SPACE 13, the headquarters of the Krima Expeditionary Force of ASR's Gold Fleet. It is a new REDOUBT-class space station, located in orbit around the planet Beta Iotia V, barely 20 light-years from the Tholian Holdfast and Gorn Hegemony borders.
DEP SPACE 13 was first commissioned on Stardate 110911 under the command of Commander S'Tveck. It was destroyed on Stardate 131108 by unknown forces. It was then rebuilt, finally re-commissioned on Stardate 171001 under the command of Jerid Dorvan. Currently, the station is under the command of Commander Rivenda April, RN.
If you are interested in learning more about DEEP SPACE 13, please contact her Commanding Officer, Commander April (played by Sean Murphy), or her Executive Officer, Commander Adrian P. Makkedor (played by Scott Lusby). Further information about role-playing opportunities in Gold Fleet can be directed to Scott Lusby, who plays Admiral Conrad Veld, Commander-in-Chief of Gold Fleet.
Deep Space 13 NewsTicker
- Bruce Summa will be filling the OPS billet, opening up Engineering for anyone who wants to give that a try. Please drop Scott Lusby a line if interested.

What is ASR?
Alt.StarFleet.RPG (or ASR) is a Usenet newsgroup on the Internet. Using email and Usenet, ASR players create an interactive fiction universe based on Star Trek: The Next Generation, extrapolated approximately 40 years after the end of the series. Players create characters and, along with other players, develop stories set around starships, starbases, and the various beings that inhabit both. ASR, founded in 1991, has grown to 17 role-playing units, organized into 3 distinct timelines, involving around 100 players. It continues to grow and prosper.
To learn more about ASR, you can visit the ASR Homepage.
At this site, you can find instructions on how to join ASR in the ASR FAQ, as well as other official documents, and links to other starship homepages. This FAQ is also posted periodically on the newsgroup.
