The Leviathan is one of Star Fleet's most decorated starships, having won battle honors in both 1st and 2nd Tybiiran and the Gorn Hegemony Wars. Despite over a decade of service, she remains one of Star Fleet's most fearsome ships. Recently, the Leviathan was been called to answer the Cardassian threat in the Argolis Cluster. As the command ship of Task Group 17 (under the command of Commodore Cayle Veld), she had a prominent place in Task Force GOLDMANE as they worked to save the USS Andromeda and keep a deadly planetkiller weapon out of The Shard's hands. Currently, she is part of Task Force Serenity operating out of Starbase Serenity. The Leviathan is currently a protected NPC ship in Starbase Serenity's storyline.
