BIOGRAPHY
Ty, by some, might be considered a Starfleet brat seeing that he followed in his father's and grandfather"s footsteps and joined Starfleet. Tyrion's grandfather, Tyrion Reid I was stationed on Bajor during the Occupation to help in peed the Cardassian forces. His father Tanis served a Federation liaison during the Dominion War. Ty's Mother, on the other hand, was a teacher, that despite being Trill, insisted on learning Bajoran customs and worshipping the Prophets.

Tyrion was born on Bajor following the Dominion War. From a very young age he was schooled in Bajoran customs, history and culture. When he was old enough, his mother urged him to attended the Temple of Hathon with hope that one day he'd become a Vedek. During his time at the temple, Tyrion studied the Way of the Prophets, the words of the ancestors, including the works of Vedek Eeth and the mysteries surrounding the Orb of Possibilities.

The day Ty was of age and able to join the Bajoran ministries, he submitted his application to be ordained as Prylar of the Bajoran faith. However, the Kia and other members of the religious council rejected his request, stating that his species was not native to that of Bajor.

Tyrion was an ambitious young man. He then visited the Symbiosis Commission to determine if he was eligible for joining. Despite all his achievements and studies within the Bajoran culture, Ty was not considered an eligible host due to a criminal conspiracy linked to his ancestry.

In the mists of his disappointment, Ty was consoled by his father. Tanis suggested that Tyrion apply to Starfleet. And he did. Ty graduated with honors in his chosen field.

Tyrion is host to the Symbiot, Rand.

Starfleet Intelligence Report: Stardate: 2437.0320

During a routine Academy training exercise, Tyrion and a group of follow cadets, that included his partner Gabriel Brooks, were accidentally pulled into the Bajoran Wormhole and deposited into Mirror Universe. Tyrion Reid came into contact with his mirror counterpart. Due to an altercation with the Starfleet cadets, Tyrion Rand(alt) became fatally wounded. In an attempt to save the symbiot, the Cadets transfered Rand to Tyrion Reid (primary), not knowing the results the joining.

Upon returning to the Primary Universe and rescued by DS9, Starfleet Medical and the Symbiosis Commission were called in. Tyrion, as well as his fellow cadets, was administered a neurolytical pulse to surpress the memories of the encounter with the Mirror Universe.

Casualties:

Gabriel Anthony Brooks

Cause of Death:

Stab wound to the upper torso resulting in a laceration to the heart.

Thorough examination of the deceased revealed a "chimeric strain" on a subatomic level in the stem cells, suggesting a biological duplicity. This suggests that Gabriel Brooks is from an alternative universe. We hypothesize that Gabriel Anthony Brooks (primary) is lost in the Mirror Universe.
