B. Background Summary:

The Th’Vollnet family operates a well-established dilithium export company on the 2nd moon of Andor, primarily doing business with Star Fleet and other Federation member worlds. Sehleth grew increasingly bored with the mundane minutiae of the business environment and after a significant argument with his parents, applied to and was accepted into the Imperial Guard Academy (Andor’s combined services military).
Upon graduation and receiving his junior officer’s commission [O-1 equivalent], he took part in two combat engagements – one against the Fardon and the second against the Issahi. Afterwards, he was promoted to O-2 equivalent and a posting as a Company Intelligence Officer.
In 2431, his new Regimental Commander became aware of, and insulted by his lifestyle choice. A week later, Am Tal agents stripped him of his commission and was given a choice of prison or exile off world.
Sehleth reached out a friend of the family, Captain Ion Steiner and secured an appointment recommendation to SF Marine Officer Candidate School (MOCS). After graduation and obtaining his 2nd Lieutenant’s commission, he went on to enroll in and graduate from Star Fleet Space Warfare Officers School.
Upon completion, he was assigned to an S1 staff role on SB Serenity. On SD 350611 he was temporarily assigned to the USS Yorktown to fill in for a Platoon Leader on extended medical leave. As that unit was being transferred, on SD 030622 he applied for a transfer to remain on the Yorktown with the incoming SF Marine detachment and was approved.
C. Personality Summary

As inherent in most members of the Imperial Guard, core values of duty, honor, integrity and loyalty are instilled deep within his character. Sehleth has a gruff exterior, and is very mistrusting of people until that trust is earned. Sehleth can be aggressive, bold and extremely goal-focused as the need arises.
In the Imperial Guard, rank merely denotes position, respect and loyalty must be earned by the person, not the insignia. This has been a difficult change from the way of life as a Star Fleet Marine.
On the inside, off duty, Sehleth is curious, funny and incredibly passionate. Opportunities include extreme impatience, he despises needlessly (or otherwise) waiting on anything or anyone.

- 2nd Lieutenant Th’Vollnet is in perfect health. A minor concern, Sehleth has not taken any leave since becoming an active duty SF Marine. He has accumulated significant time off and should use it occasionally to enjoy the finer things in life! My only other notation is a personal one, I have never met such a tall Andorian before!
