But Richard Brolin had a great life as a child. As he went to school aboard the Niagra Class USS Princeton, he also learned a lot about starships. And with his father being the Executive Officer, he got almost unlimited access to the ship. When he was 10, he realized that he had a knack for warp physics, so he spent a lot of time in Engineering. When it was time for Rick to go to Starfleet Academy in 2413, the ship took him personally as a special send-off. His senior dissertation was on Trans-Warp Theory. When he attended Space Warfare Officer School, he also excelled as a Tactical Officer. ---------------------------------------------------------- IV. During a Tactical simulation at the Space Warfare Officer School, he refused to leave an ended simulation until he corrected what he saw was a problem in the targeting sensors. ---------------------------------------------------------- VI. Recent Fitness Report -------------------------- As both an Engineer and a Tactician, Starfleet couldn't have a better asset in Richard Brolin. A fierce, dedicated officer, Brolin has a leg up on most of his classmates, having played more with interlocks than with toys. I see him becoming one of the greatest Engineers or Tactical Officers in all of Starfleet. Psychological Profile --------------------------- Cadet Brolin is incredibly gentle for being as large as he is. He's been known to risk failing a class to help another cadet to study. He uses transference for any aggression or anger he may have, such as his weightlifting. While very healthy, there are times where one must face that which is bothering them. Even though most tend to dismiss him as a large oaf, he will talk warp theory until your ear falls off. A wonderful officer, and a wonderful man.
