CSFO Report

Assembled delegates,

First of all, let me apologize for not getting this report out 
yesterday.  Work has been incredibly busy and saw a group of us working 
until 10 pm + several nights this week.

Now, on to my report.

As the CINCSF has indicated, these past sixth months have been fairly 
quiet, with things proceeding at a relatively normal pace.  All in all, I 
have had 39 individuals pass through the CSFO's office for assignment.  Of 
these, one was a player being re-assigned, one was a returning player, and 
three were unsolicited second characters.  At the current time, I am in the 
process of placing two other unsolicited second characters, one returning 
player, and two new players.  To summarize:

  5 players at various stages of assignment in CSFO's office
34 players assigned out of ALB
  1 player transferred unit-unit
  1 player returned to ASR and assigned by CSFO
  3 players began additional characters processed at CSFO's Office


I have thoroughly enjoyed serving as CSFO over the course of the past sixth 
months.  My relationship with all of the CINCFleet's has been courteous and 
things have run fairly smoothly.  I have enjoyed meeting new players while 
assigning them to their units and I have enjoyed working with all members 
of the Flag Council.

Unfortunately, due to RL circumstances (very positive ones, I will note), I 
find that I no longer have the time necessary to devote to the office of 
CSFO.  Therefore, I hereby tender my resignation as Chief of Star Fleet 
Operations.  I will continue to perform the duties of CSFO (including 
seeing to the assignment of the 5 players remaining in the CSFO's office) 
until the CINCSF nominates, and the RT confirms, my successor.

As I said, I have greatly enjoyed the past six months, and I would like to 
thank the CINCSF, Jeff Jenkins, and the other members of Flag Council for 
their support and cooperation.  Thank you all for letting me serve ASR as 
Chief of Star Fleet Operations.
