RT2310- CINCSF Welcome

RT 2310 WELCOME & CALL TO ORDER

Dear Delegates and fellow players,

Welcome to the October, 2023 ASR Round Table. Please send any business proposed for this Round Table to the Chair or Secretary. At this time, there is only one order of business before the officer's reports.

It is, however, an important order of business. As we all know, our friend and formed CSFO Sean Murphy passed away in April, not long after being confirmed as CSFO. To cover his position, Scott Lusby stepped up and has been our CSFO ever since. However, this body has the right to reject any candidate the CINCSF proposes.

We have, therefore, to vote if Scott Lusby will continue as CSFO until the next RT in April, 2024, or if the CINCSF will have to present a different candidate. The Chair would like to remind this body that this is not an election, but rather a ratification of Mr Lusby's position as CSFO.

So, once the Secretary officially presents the Roll and the agenda, the Chair will set up a poll to decide this item.

The Roll Call will keep on until tomorrow, but the Roll will remain open for the duration of the RT. The Secretary, however, will tally the votes of those on the Roll at the moment of the votation.
