RT2310 CINCSF REPORT
Dear Delegates, fellow players, This semester has been hard. However, the Club has grown stronger and has poured the pain into writing and transformed it into creativity. Our three units are performing quite well and we will help them to keep growing and nurturing their respective AOs and idiosyncrasies. September and the starting of the new school year has slowed things down, which is the reason I would like to ask the Command teams of the units to reinforce their presence and be available for their players. We know that when the CO and XO are involved, the rest of the unit answers with enthusiasm. Now, therefore, is the right time to step in and keep the momentum up. We have suffered a slight blow on our Social networking plans, with progress postings coming to a halt. I intend to resume the activity (automated, if possible) and I will ask you to please have a short one or two lines summary section by the end of your posts, so it's easier to spot or even automatically parse with a script. We are also planning on expanding our online presence, so if anyone would like to lend a hand, please let us know. We have been working hard with COMSFE, Mr. Jenkins, throughout this Summer, in upgrading our base technologies (Warp, D-Warp, IDFs, shields, sensors...) and producing a new batch of starship classes that will replace some of our aging models. It's still a work in progress, although we are very close to completion, and we hope they will be soon available for upgrades, new units or as background or NPC units in our AOs. Once it's ready, everything will be published on our BOI website, of course, and a general announcement will be made. There's been advancement in some other fronts that will be detailed in their own announcements in order to keep this report short and on point and to give them the relevance they deserve. We will face the next semester with optimism and determination to keep growing and expanding our Club. Lastly, I would like to personally thank Mr. Lusby for his help, wisdom and savoir faire. We've been through a lot of things in the last 23+ years, although our ways kind of parted midway, and it's been a pleasure and an honor to work and write with him again. Scott, you know ASR is your home and you will always be welcome back. We wish you the best. And that concludes this report. Respectfully submitted, David S. de Lis, CINCSF and Chair
