RT2010- CINCSF Welcome

WELCOME & CALL TO ORDER

Given the prevailing opinion that this Round Table should remain open to the full membership, the Chair Welcomes the body of ASR to this session of the Round Table.

I have asked Sean Murphy to act as secretary for this RT. There will be a confirmation vote to approve the acting secretary as the standing secretary.

I have asked the secretary to mark anyone who responded to the pre-RT message as present. Please respond that you are present and able to vote at this RT if you did not respond earlier.

Please let me know if there are any omissions from the Roll.

I have placed two proposals on the Agenda for discussion at this RT. One gives clear definitions of "Large Unit," "Small Unit," and "Free Thread." This offers a potential for a new outlet for smaller or shorter story arcs that someone might have a desire to write. I also propose activity expectations for command players. One of the core issues that has historically led to unit failure is inactivity and inconsistent activity from unit leadership. This establishes clear expectations for the unit command team. I'd like us, as a group, to decide just what those expectations should be.
