B. Background Summary:

 Prim was born to LT. Jillian Colton on the USS Kusanagi. Her mother was the chief counselor
 and first contact officer. Her father was the Chief Medical Officer. Since she was going to be
 born ¾ Klingon and ¼ human, her parents decided to remove ¼ of her Klingon genes and added
 ¼ more human.
 Her mother was on an away mission where she had first contact with a new species that
 communicated telepathically. When the species reached out and touched her, they transferred
 their telepathic abilities to her. This became permanent. Jillian passed it on to her daughter. She
 followed in her parents' footsteps and joined Starfleet at a very early age.
