The PromVerse

The “PromVerse” is a alternate, quantum, or parallel reality set in the time of Alt. Starfleet RPG (ASR). These Free threads will operate outside of normal or prime ASR. Events in this “universe” will not affect events in ASR Prime.

Political Situation

The Cardassian Union

Status: Allied

In the Prime Universe, the terrorist group known as The Shard which are made up of former Cardassian military and civilians who detested the growing friendliness with the United Federation caused a civil war within the Cardassian Union.

In the PromVERSE the Shard and its allies lost the Cardassian civil war to pro-Federation Centrist forces and the Cardassians have formed an alliance with the Federation including an exchange program between the two powers.

The Romulan Star Empire

Status: Temperamental

The Romulan Empire has been growing restless of late. Several Prominent voices within the Empire have grown increasingly frustrated with the lack of cooperation between the Empire and the United Federation of Planets. The Romulan Empire has quietly made it known they are willing to abandon the Herod Accords unless certain demands have been met (For example a Romulan Officer serving aboard the Prometheus).

The Tholian Confederation

Status: Unknown

The Tholian Empire has gone silent and any and all attempts to contact with them have been met with silence.

The Gorn

Status: Hostile

The Gorn Confederation and the Gorn Hegemony have forged together and have become increasingly hostile as of late towards the Federation for reasons unknown.

The Klingon Empire

Status: Allied

The Klingon Empire remains steadfast in its friendship and alliance with the Federation amid concerns of recent Cardassian alliance with the Federation.
