The Leviathan is one of Star Fleet's most decorated starships, having won battle honors in both 1st and 2nd Tybiiran and the Gorn Hegemony Wars. Despite over a decade of service, she remains one of Star Fleet's most fearsome ships.

Leviathan has been called to answer the Cardassian threat in the Argolis Cluster. As the command ship of Task Group 17 (under the command of Commodore Cayle Veld), she takes her place amongst the rest of Task Force GOLDMANE as they race to save the USS Andromeda and keep a deadly planetkiller weapon out of The Shard's hands.
