Other physical features:
Briela has lots of tiny and medium sized scars all over her body. As nine year old girl she had been in an accident with a hoverbus that crashed during a fieldtrip with her parents. The hoverbus exploded on impact and Briela was thrown out the bus and made a rather hard crash landing on rough, rocky surface. She was covered in lots of scars and bruises. Her parents where unconscious for several days and when they finally recovered, most of her wounds had already healed leaving lots of scars on her body. Her mother refused the have her daughter treated with new skin or laser dermatology to remove the scars so until present day Briela wears those scars as memory from her childhood.
Briela has remarkable long and slender fingers. During her days as cadet she learned a lot of ‘tricks’ that needed the use of her hands and fingers as card tricks, magicians tricks, and so on. This trainings and exercises have made her fingers incredible strong and very agile.
Although rather slim build she has an excellent condition and Briela can put her body through extreme hunger, pain and other physical limits.

Religion and Traditions: Briela believes in what she calls ‘the Mother Goddess of Nature’. A believe somewhat comparable to the ancient Kelts and Druids on Earth. Briela strongly believes in a higher, mystical power that guides and protects live and nature. She loves to be outdoors having all her senses being touched by the elements and environment. One of the things she likes to do is go out into the wilderness of a new planet and let herself be ‘touched’ by the wind, rain, odors of the environment.
She spends some minutes in meditation and reflection in the morning and evening to think about the day and past events.
Background:
Briela was born on January 21, 2384 on the Moon Cinera in the Delta system from a Deltan father and a Human mother. Her mother often refers to her as ‘her glow and fire in her dreams’; referring to the memories of his sexual relation with her Deltan father.
Her father currently works as computer engineer for the main security company. Her mother works as a lab-assistant in a huge clinical laboratory. She was raised in a classic Deltan family, open, friendly and curious to new experiences. Her parents took her around on exploration tours from age of three.
At age of 17 her father was called back to Earth to a Board of Inquiry concerning a breach in security in a computer system created by the Deltans. As her mother was visiting a sick aunt, Briela joined her father to Earth. On Earth she came impressed by the rich history of Star Fleet and was inspired by the life of Ilia, the Deltan who was aboard the USS ENTERPRISE in the V’Ger mission. After returning to Cinera, it took her several months to convince her father and mother that she would do well at the SFA. They agreed on the condition that she first would gain an academic degree at her homeworld.
From her 18 to her 22, Briela was a good and praised student at the Ilia University at Delta IV. She finished school in top ten of her year, earning a degree in field biology and medical science.
At 23 she entered Starfleet Academy to gain an extra degree, to socialize and to get familiar with the many species and habits she would meet during her career in Star Fleet During the next few years she worked hard to prove herself being more than an ‘extremely attractive and sensual girl’. One of her quirks to prove herself was an extensive training in controlling her own body. In several occasions she has been known to push her body over the edge in extreme situations like multithlon runs, extreme survival courses, extended meditations sessions, etc.
During these years she got interested in the Role Playing Games that where popular amongst students. Briela became very good in creating holo-adventures and rich fantasy worlds with landscapes filled with imaginary creatures and beings (like dwarfs, elves, magicians, etc...) and set up huge role-play-games in such holosessions. Although it is only a rumor, it is said that she is one of the universes leading so-called “Dungeon Masters” in intergalactic RPG-sessions.
Although she was not the brightest student, Briela did well enough to end top ten of her year. Her professional major was astrogation, with a minor in operations. Her academic majors were environmental biology and earth mythology; her minors were psychology and mental health.
Psychological profile:
Being half Deltan and raised in a Deltan society, Briela was an extraverted and very open person. She socialized quickly with her classmates but initially had troubles with several males given her Deltan physiology. After some, at least for her male lovers, accidents that lead to a reprimand in her personal file, she went to some counseling sessions to gain more control over her specific Deltan pheromones and other capabilities.
Although she likes to be in good company and had lots of friends at the academy, Briela also likes to go out into the wilderness to dive into natures richest places. She visited several huge nature reserves on earth as the Amazon, the Canadian rainforests, the Antarctic, the great Barrier Reef, the Sahara desert and Mount Everest. During these holidays she got interested in insects and all kind of other little animals like spiders, snails, reptiles etc. She became a good entomologist with fascination for the social insects (ants, bees).
Likes and loves: being into the nature, preferably naked, so all her senses and skin are exposed to the touches, sounds and smells of nature. Loves a good, rich meal and would love to try every dish available in the universe.
Quirks: Briela loves to use jewelry and temporary tattoos to ‘decorate’ her own body. Small gems and colorful stones placed in artistic patterns on her shoulders, head, neck or face, adding tattoos to her cheeks or arms all can draw attention to her figure and looks.
Fears: Briela used to be scared in narrow places, this was such bad fear that's was nearly claustrophobic.
Hates: noisy and arrogant people, despises violence and aggressive people (believe in talking, rather than fighting).
Weakness: her sensuality and oath of celibacy and her strange humor.
Other remarks: Although Briela is only half Deltan she has sworn an oath of celibacy to avoid incidents as during her first months at the SFA. One of her boyfriends then went insane after sexual contact with her and was overwhelmed by her pheromones and the unique Deltan way of sexual intercourse. (Being half Deltan, the oath was not required before she entered the academy.)
Medical Profile:
Briela is in good condition, has no allergies or other medical deficiencies. She has the bad habit of sometimes working her body to extremes (like it is know in several occasions that he worked or studied for several days without sleep and only some minor food or drink.). He has an extreme flexible and agile body and was a prime in several gymnastics sporting events.
Although not very strong and good in hand to hand combat she is very well capable of defending herself against any man or female that would lay hands on her.

2416: Reprimanded for using her ESP capabilities to interfere in a discussion between a ambassador and crew member on an away mission. Although her interfering resulted in settling the differences without causing a diplomatic incident, interfering without permission in a persons feelings and emotions is forbidden.
