Torenn's father was a aide of Ambassador Spock, when he went to Romulus with him in 2368. There, he met a Romulan who was working in the government as an aide. Though her boss eventually betrayed Spock, Devil would warn them, but too late, to do anything.  Eventually, when this movement fell through, Devil would defect to the Federation with Sarinn, eventually settling on Baradas III, a world near the Romulan Neutral Zone.
 
When Torenn was a child, the Borg invaded the Romulan Empire, assimilating countless people. While his mother never talked about her time with the Romulans, Torenn knew that it had an effect on her.
 
At the age of 18, after graduating from his local high school with top marks, he decided to apply to Star Fleet Academy.
 
C. Personality Summary:

Though Torenn looks like a typical Vulcan, he's far from typical.  Vulcans tend to suppress emotion, while Torenn just lets emotion happen.  Though less withdrawn from his emotions as normal Vulcans, he tends to have very few friends, and the ones that he does have, he's emensly loyal to, even defending them when it proves illogical to.

Though skilled in all aspects of Engineering, Torenn's specialty is Computers.  He takes pride in the fact that he runs a tight ship, and there have been no malfunctions.
Levenworth (a minor at the time) had secretly dated Professor
Lawson. There was a board investigation. Both were brought before
the board and reprimanded. Ensign Levenworth was placed under
probabtion and performed 120 hours of community services.
Professor Lawson was dismissed for unprofessional conduct.
