ASR Round Table Minutes

"I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience. I know no way of judging of the future but by the past."

- Patrick Henry, Speech in the Virginia Convention, March, 1775.

Description

The ASR Round Table (or RT) is the governing body of the Usenet newsgroup alt.starfleet.rpg (ASR). Based on the document The Rules and Procedures of the ASR Round Table, it consists of the Flag Council and the representatives of individual active role-playing units which have qualified for representation. Although the Flag Council conducts the day-to-day administration of ASR, the Round Table is responsible for making decisions that affect all ASR players. The Round Table enables each role-playing unit to participate in governing the conduct of ASR as a group.

For those interested in the administration of ASR, and how the RT fits together with other administrative bodies, there is a document addressing this. It also gives a brief overview over the history of the RT. Like all documents attempting to summarize past events, it is subjective, and not an official ASR document.

A FAQ is available for the ASR RT which will answer most of the basic questions of what one does during a given situation at the RT.
