Mike Bursey

Mike Bursey first joined ASR in 1998, starting on the USS YORKTOWN in INDIGO FLEET as 2LT Kana Seri.
Having served in a number of units across several fleets; Mike is best known for his numerous Marine characters.
He has also served in an administrative role with the Star Fleet Marine Corps, and once taught a class at ALB.
Specializing in action writing, Mike was once awarded the GREEN FLEET "Golden Splozhun'" Award for outstanding action writing, an award he holds with great pride.
After taking a hiatus of several years, Mike made a brief return to ASR in 2008 with his original character, taking a post at DS13.
After another extended absence, Mike has once again returned to ASR in 2025.
