The Ranger is one of the first batches of Wanderlust-class Explorer Light Cruisers, and proud successor of Sentinel-class frigate NCC-82675. The Wanderlust-class CL has last generation systems all across the board, from weapons, shields, propulsion and sensors to computers, labs and even shuttle crafts.
