The Akata III is divided in a residential district, "The Town", which houses most of the civilians; a business district, were most non-mining related jobs and entertainment facilities reside, a StarFleet building for the command of the region, although it's usually in orbit, in SB MAGELLAN, and several mining sites and corresponding nimers' living quarters.
Important Iconian artifacts and a control room for the "Object" have been found in the New Site and are subject of intense research.
