Timeline of KRIMA Events

Introduction

Below is a timeline of events in the hisotry of the KRIMA Expeditionary Force.

2421

• Cayle Veld is promoted to Commodore and transferred to command Tactical Squadron 105 aboard USS DIOMEDES; CAPT Adrian P. Makkedor assumes command of USS CIRCE. (CIRCE)

2420

• Gorn Hegemony mines are discovered to have been reopened on Beta Iotia IV, enslaving thousands of Iotian citizens once again. Elements from Deep Space 13 discovered the mines, closed them, and freed the slaves. (DS13)
• A large Star Fleet battle group confronts the 700+-ship armada of Mor'dak, and lead by the USS CIRCE, wins a stunning stalemate against superior forces. (CIRCE)
• Rebel Gorn forces, under the command of Mor'dak, attack Gorn Confederacy-held systems along the Gorn Confederacy/Federation/Tholian Holdfast border. (CIRCE)
• Kimura Accords signed by signoatories from the United Federation of Planets, the Gorn Confederacy, and the Tholian Holdfast, effectively eliminating the government of the Gorn Hegemony. (DS13)

• USS CIRCE is dispatched to the Tybiiran Complex on routine border patrol and squadron wargames. (CIRCE)
• Deep Space 13 plays host to a quadrant-wide peace conference to discuss the declining situation within the Gorn Hegemony. The conference is attended by ambassadors from several governments, including the Tholian Holdfast, the Gorn Confederacy, the Romulan Star Empire, and the Kzinti Republic. (DS13)
• USS CIRCE is dispatched to Frika once again upon the discovery of kirrelium traces by local scientific teams. (CIRCE)

• Tholian Ambassador is killed on Deep Space 13; a second Tholian Ambassador is killed shortly thereafter on Orestes Prime. Simultaneous investigations into the murders open on Deep Space 13 and on Orestes, the latter being handled by USS CIRCE. (DS13/CIRCE)
• Elements of Deep Space 13 discover the Tvisi. (DS13)
• The investigation into the second Tholian ambassador's murder leads USS CIRCE to Karbella II.
• USS CIRCE uncovers massive Section 31 plot to destroy the Gorn Hegemony by pitting them against both the Federation and the Tholian Holdfast. USS CIRCE stymies the plan. (CIRCE)
• Second Tholian Treaty is signed between the Federation and the Tholian Holdfast. (CIRCE)

• Sidhe decendents found on Delta Draconis III; some of the crew of the USS CIRCE abducted and later recovered. (CIRCE)
• Re-opening of Deep Space 13, now located in orbit around Iotia.
• The Briol Incident: Federation forces secure the Briol system, where Preserver technology had been found, against superior Gorn Hegemony forces. (CIRCE)
• Re-opening of Orestes Medical Pavilion, under the new monicker 'Orestes Station', complete with a military presence.
• USS CIRCE discovers the derelict USS AKAGI NCC-003 in orbit around a rogue planet within the Arachne Nebula. (CIRCE)

• Galen-Beta Trianguli-Iota Cassiopeae Incident: Skirmish between unknown pirates (who had somehow acquired old MIRANDA-class frigates and upgraded them heavily) and USS LEVIATHAN results in near-destruction of LEVIATHAN and USS INDEFATIGABLE. CAPT Corwyn O'Dwyer assumes command of USS BASTION and fends off pirate offensive.
• Destruction of Orestes Medical Pavilion on Orestes Prime. (CIRCE)
• Third contact between Federation and Lehrren; diploimatic ties established. (CIRCE)
• Bursite source uncovered in Woren space; Star Fleet thwarts possible Romulan/Woren trade of bursite dust. (CIRCE)
• USS TESLA returns home with the USS TSUNAMI, lost for several years herself. (TESLA)
• League of Independent Peoples, under the rule of Lord Adrian, is discovered and broken up. (SERAPIS)
• The Phoenix are discovered within the A-3 region of the Tybiiran Complex. (TESLA)

• Cestus III Incident: Assassination attempt on Ambassador Linkri Saresh on Cestus III by Gorn Hegemony agents disrupted by the SERAPIS crew with the help (unbeknownst to them) of Section 31. (SERAPIS)
• Two Section 31 agents brought to trial and convicted. This represents the first legal prosecution and conviction of anyone attached to the shadow organization. (SERAPIS)
• USS TESLA II lost due to d-warp drive malfunction; ends up some 45,000 ly away from GOLD Fleet space. (TESLA)

• Delphan VII Operation: LCDR Cayle Veld is rescued from Section 31 agents by LTMAJ Molly Sharpe and Linkri Saresh. (DS13)
