B. Background Summary

Sean had a quiet childhood growing up in Oxford England. Both of his
parent were teachers at a local public school where he attended which
as out can imagine was a bit of an uncomfortable experience. At
fourteen Sean developed an interest in engineering, especially
computer systems and decided that the best way to work with the latest
in engineering developments was to join Starfleet. He enrolled at
Starfleet academy at 18.
 
His Starfleet career was studious with Sean always remaining one of
the top students in his class. He was also a big fan of classical
literature and became a member of the literature club. The club also
performed some plays during Aaron's time there where he had some
roles. Sean specialised in computers. This was a fantastic time for
computing developments with the production of some of the more
advanced starships. Computer systems with the sophistication required
to help run a Constitution class where at the forefront of technology
and Sean was eager to work with them.
 
On graduation Sean went on his training run and on completion, he
requested an assignment at the shipyards to help with the development
and installation of computer cores for new ships and upgrade to
existing ships in the fleet. He spent two years there before being
transferred, having developed significant knowledge, to the USS Crazy
Horse in 2258, just after the Nero incident. The Crazy Horse was put
on patrol on federation borders with both Klingon and Romulan space.
It was feared that the Romulans might react to the events and the
Klingons were in a state of flux with the destruction of a significant
portion of their fleet.
 
Sean served as a member of the engineering department. There were a
number of incidents including skirmishes with rogue Klingons raiding
colonies along the border. One such incident in 2261 resulted in
heavy damage to the Crazy Horse. With a damaged warp core and
fractured dilithium crystals, Ensign Aaron managed to salvage the
dilithium crystals from the damaged Klingon scout ship after a battle.
These were jury rigged to the warp core allowing limited warp speed to
get the Crazy Horse to a federation outpost. This resulted in a
promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade.
 
In 2262 LtJg Sean Aaron requested a post on a Constitution class
Starship the USS Hood with desire to serve on one of the best ships in
the fleet. With a satisfactory record, the request was accepted.

Lt Aaron is an expert engineer with Four years experience on the Crazy
Horse. His main expense however is Computer Science. Having worked at
the Earth Shipyards he has worked as part of the team who developed
the computer cores in use today and installed a number of the systems
on the constitution class starships. He is always looking at new ways
of improving the artificial intelligence capabilities of starship
computers and increasing their efficiency. As an engineer he is also
skilled in warp engines and the general engineering requirements of a
starship.
 
Sean has had combat training at the Academy and found it quite invigorating.

Sean Aaron is of sound mind and is capable of handling the stress of

interaction with other people. If they do not share his interests or
stimulate him, he tends to make excuses to leave the social situation

members especially as he works so far from home.
