| The VALHALLA-class is the latest design of command battle cruiser in Star

| Fleet, intended to phase out the venerable SOLAR-class. VALHALLA is built
| |
| on the same space frame as the ROMANOV, much the same way BASTION is built
| |
| on the CIRCE space frame.

| VALHALLA incorporates the same design improvements as ROMANOV. However,
| |
| aside from the inclusion of more ablative armor around the warp engines
| |
| and command-and-control areas, VALHALLA is able to launch a dozen of the
| |
| latest gravit-planing combat shuttle with the inclusion of several launch
| |
| tubes, unheard of beforehand on command battlecruisers. However, the idea
| |
| proved so popular that it is being incorporated int he latest BASTION-class
| |
| upgrades.
