NOTES:

The VALHALLA-class is the latest design of command battle cruiser in Star
Fleet, intended to phase out the venerable SOLAR-class.  VALHALLA is built
on the same space frame as the ROMANOV, much the same way BASTION is built
on the CIRCE space frame.

VALHALLA incorporates the same design improvements as ROMANOV.  However,
aside from the inclusion of more ablative armor around the warp engines
and command-and-control areas, VALHALLA is able to launch a dozen of the
latest gravit-planing combat shuttle with the inclusion of several launch
tubes, unheard of beforehand on command battlecruisers.  However, the idea
proved so popular that it is being incorporated int he latest BASTION-class
upgrades.
