B.  Background Summary:

Lee Hunter was a second of three children born to Adam Hunter and Flora
Williams Hunter.  His brother Robert is older by four years, and his sister
Flora died when she was still a baby.  Lee was fifteen when she died, and he
took the death of his younger sister with a lot of sorrow.  It seemed to
change him, make him more withdrawn and silent.  Prior to that, however, he
was just another normal child.  He was tall and skinny and he loved to play
soccer outside. He did very well in school, thanks to the encouragement he
had received from his parents, particularly his mom.  Lee's father owned a
mining company and when precious deposits of syrilic amber was discovered
there, the family moved to live in a small mining community there.  There
was an accident with the pressurization chamber, and the whole colony was
wiped out, killing Lee's parents.  The only thing that saved him is that he
left to earth a few hours earlier to take an exam join the Starfleet.  His
brother was also spared as he was on a diplomatic mission to the Ferengi
homeworld.
  Lee embraced the Starfleet as it helped him get through the loss of his
parents.  He was a bright student, yet not everyone understood this, due to
his silent attitude and cold appearance towards others.  This often brought
him into conflict with fellow students and professors.  Lee eventually found
his calling in the Marine Corp after one of his instructors  suggested it.
There he excelled for his strong will and unflinching leadership and ability
to perform under fire. These same valiance would land him into trouble on
several occasions especially if they involved a commanding officer, but
overall he's made a good soldier, even receiving several medals for bravery
in active operations.

I am very proficient in the skill of martial arts, heavy weaponry,
reconnaissance  and the use and operation of armored vehicles.  As a marine
they teach you to be ready for anything and I believe I am.  We've been
thrown into situations that seemed hopeless, and yet I am still here writing
this.  Marines are made to fight, and fight I shall, whenever I am needed,
with whatever I am needed.

VI.  Recent Fitness Report

  Release of Care Report, Crown Corona Hospital:
  Patient, Lee Hunter has completely recovered from his injuries sustained
in the recent shuttle crash.  These injuries include a severe concussion, a
fracture in several ribs and a broken left arm.  These injuries are
completely healed, although the patient does exhibit some sort of scars
around the upper stomach and lower back area.  They seem to come from a
phaser burn or from a primitive  medical technique in an  attempt to stop a
bleeding by heating metal over fire and burning the skin shut.  Upon inquiry
on the scars, the patient has obviously gotten very disgruntled and refused
to answer.  Neither did he want them removed, which seemed a bit strange,
since with today's advanced technology this simple procedure would only take
a few minutes nor would it be uncomfortable or painful.
  Other than the above mentioned defomities, the patient seems to be in good
shape.  I've observed him in the hospital gym on several occasions and his
muscle mass seems to be above normal.  His breathing capacity is above
normal as well, but those are a regular signs for a marine.  The vital signs
are normal.  Hand and eye coordination and awareness are normal.  The
patient is ready for release.

Lee Hunter could often be found reading a book in his quarters, or out on
the holodeck recreating some historical battle and even participating in it
himself.  Sometimes if he's in the mood, he may go out to a bar to drink and
socialize, but the latter happens on a rare occasions.  Most often you would
probably find him out in the wild, exploring something new.
