The Chief Engineer instructs the Main Engineering Computer to remove the safety interlocks on the Antimatter Containment Bottles. Thus, when the computer counts down to zero, the internal force-fields of the Antimatter Containment Bottles will be cancelled out. This will result in an explosion which will negate any object within a 1000 km radius of the ship.
