===Confirmation Ceremony===
The joining of 2 Dezeld, or a Dezeldi and a Des' is a ceremony deep in tradition, and the recognition that it is the joining of not just two people, but two clans, 2 families, and at times, 2 empires.


====The Offering====
Each side offers the potential mates to each other... this first part is to show that both clans agree to the ceremony that will take place.
====Test of the Male====
A male that can not protect his mate is not worthy of a mate. This test is one of battle, to prove prowess, and willingness to put ones life on the line. This is more for show, but the injuries one can sustain are very real.
====Test of the Female====
This is a test of trust. and commitment. again, ceremony from when the males would mark a female as his, the male will tattoo the female, either in the hand, or the face, as the female preferrs. Choosing one or another is not a sign of shame, but some feel that a marking on the face shows greater trust.
====The Naming====
The ceremony finished, each are named according to tradition. At this time, any offspring created before this time are also named, and officialy recognized.

A feast in the honor of the new couple.
