| Each male member of John's paternal line had been in the Marine Corps going
| |
| back 15 Generations. While growing up, John felt that he could offer more
| |
| as a civilian than he could as a Marine. John's Grandfather, Father and 3
| |
| brothers attempted to convince him to join the Corps when he turned 17, but
| |
| John had already made up his mind to become a lawyer and follow in his mother's
| |
| footsteps. John had been quite happy in his career as a lawyer with a success
| |
| rate of 90 rulings in favor of his clients and 10 against. The last case he
| |
| won as a defense attorney made him question whether the Legal System was as
| |
| honorable as he had believed when he first became a lawyer-(his client
| |
| confessed to him that he had been guilty of a brutal crime, but Lawyer-Client
| |
| relations dictated that he defend his client to the best of his abilities.
| |
| The client was found not guilty as John had risen enough reasonable doubt in
| |
| the Jury's minds that they could not justify a guilty verdict.) After a few
| |
| months of soul searching, John decided that it was time he followed family
| |
| tradition and join the Marine Corps.

| John did not want to limit himself to one area in the Corps. He completed
| |
| training in Logistics, Flight, Infantry and Military Police & Corrections so
| |
| that he would have a broad range of Specialties to draw from and offer to any
| |
| billet he received. John took naturally to whichever task and Specialty he
| |
| went into. He enjoys a good challenge and is willing to help anyone out in
| |
| their time of need. His law background gave him the legal footings he needed
| |
| to serve in any field in the MP & Corrections Specialty. After serving for 5
| |
| years in the MP Specialty, John felt ready for a deployment in the field
| |
| onboard a Ship or Base that had more of a Marine presence than SB OMEGA needed.

| VI. Recent Fitness Report:

| |
| Churchill has shown an incredible aptitude towards maintaining discipline in
| |
| the ranks and maintaining peace on the SB. He is the most punctual Officer I
| |
| have in my crew and is able to keep punctual while helping his fellow Marines
| |
| and gentlebeings along the way.

| He has shown an uncanny compassion towards anyone in need and will bend over
| |
| backwards to ensure the needs and wants of everyone he comes in contact with is
| |
| met before his own.

| It is apparent in all that Churchill does that he is a proud Marine and firmly
| |
| believes in the Corps and Star Fleet. He is an honorable man that defends the
| |
| honor of the Federation, the Corps and his family every second of every day.

| John W. Churchill keeps a surprising balance between his career and personal
| |
| life. He gives his all while on duty and knows enough to relax while off duty.
| |
| Mr. Churchill shows a compassion for all living beings and would give anyone the
| |
| shirt off his back if they needed it.

| He has shown an incredible dedication to the Corps, but knows that a person needs

| to keep a somewhat active life off duty to lead a full life and keep a certain
