+Torus is a well-regarded and veteran Security Officer, who is proud to have been given responsibility for the massive SOSSF facility. He is Algolian, and they resemble slender Klingons with very similar forehead ridges but much more “wrinkled” faces, kind of a burnt orange in color. Unlike a lot of his contemporaries, virtually his entire career has consisted of positions on large planetary facilities, so he has little experience aboard starships. He does in fact like planetary and starbase assignments, preferring to be in one place for a while.
+He has been in charge of Security for the SOSSF for six years (as of 2436), and is very wary of anyone who threatens his position or Security supremacy, or makes him look bad. He rarely leaves the facility, except for occasional visits to the Starbase, and almost never ventures into Revel Town or consorts with the locals. His relations with Chief Diallo and the RTC are somewhat strained, but he carefully maintains a “hand off” attitude for anything happening outside his control, like in town or on the starbase. So he emphasizes to all who visit the facility that he will not help them if they venture into civilian areas, including posters, lectures and constant reminders.</div>

+Yerpax came to Relva VII around 2430 as a transient, but decided Revel Town would be a good opportunity to open his own place. He negotiated a surprise sell-out with the owner of one of the oldest establishments in town, formerly known as the “Last Revel”, reportedly with the aid of his two hulking Nausicaan bodyguards/bouncers, then promptly re-named it, hiring all new staff and even purchasing the building next door so he could expand. No one is quite sure where his sudden wealth came from, and rumors range from offworld Ferengi investors to shady government officials in Revlor City, and even the involvement of some high-ranking Starfleet personnel. However it happened, “Yerpa’s” has become an unqualified success, and now is well-known as one of the very best spots in Revel Town for gambling, entertainment and drinking, with several levels of party rooms, from loud and public to small, private, secure and intimate.
+Yerpax is short (about 5’6” or 1.7 m), but success has allowed him to indulge his great appetite, and he is becoming fat, with a pronounced stomach under his colorful vests, although he is somewhat sensitive about it. Typically shrewd and cunning, he is also known for his ruthlessness in Revel Town, relentlessly pursuing any debtors to collect every last credit owed him, some of whom have disappeared.
