Sarral is a veteran diplomat who only assumed the position two years ago when the previous Commissioner abruptly disappeared on a hunting trip out into the wilderness. Despite intense searches that lasted over a year, no traces of him were ever found. Kevin Blake, the missing human Commissioner, who represented the Federation for over ten years, was a controversial figure on Relva VII, often at odds with the High Council and even rumored to have threatened them with the removal of the Federation facilities if his concerns were not addressed.
+Sarral is much more calm and conciliatory, and seems to be on good terms with the colonial government, able to handle any friction quietly and to the satisfaction of all involved parties most of the time. He is, however, displeased that he is still here and no permanent replacement has been appointed yet. Sarral believes his talents would be more valuable in other capacities. The Vulcan Ambassador/Commissioner is quiet, deliberate, conscientious and hard-working, and has a fine reputation as honest, forthright and patient. He has little tolerance for Federation citizens who run afoul of the Colony’s Laws, however, insisting they were, or should have been, aware of the consequences. This is in sharp contrast to his predecessor, who frequently complained or intervened forcefully in support of any Federation citizen, especially Starfleet personnel.</div>

+Torus is a well-regarded and veteran Security Officer, who is proud to have been given responsibility for the massive SOSSF facility. He is Algolian, and they resemble slender Klingons with very similar forehead ridges but much more “wrinkled” faces, kind of a burnt orange in color. Unlike a lot of his contemporaries, virtually his entire career has consisted of positions on large planetary facilities, so he has little experience aboard starships. He does in fact like planetary and starbase assignments, preferring to be in one place for a while.

He rarely leaves the facility, except for occasional visits to the Starbase, and almost never ventures into Revel Town or consorts with the locals. His relations with Chief Diallo and the RTC are somewhat strained, but he carefully maintains a “hand off” attitude for anything happening outside his control, like in town or on the starbase. +Yerpax came to Relva VII around 2430 as a transient, but decided Revel Town would be a good opportunity to open his own place. He negotiated a surprise sell-out with the owner of one of the oldest establishments in town, formerly known as the “Last Revel”, reportedly with the aid of his two hulking Nausicaan bodyguards/bouncers, then promptly re-named it, hiring all new staff and even purchasing the building next door so he could expand. No one is quite sure where his sudden wealth came from, and rumors range from offworld Ferengi investors to shady government officials in Revlor City, and even the involvement of some high-ranking Starfleet personnel. However it happened, “Yerpa’s” has become an unqualified success, and now is well-known as one of the very best spots in Revel Town for gambling, entertainment and drinking, with several levels of party rooms, from loud and public to small, private, secure and intimate.

Although he is known to have shady contacts, he works hard to stay on the right side of Chief Diallo and the RTC, who frequently shut down establishments for almost any reason. There are rumors of payoffs involved, made more credible by the rumor that Chief Diallo has referred to Yerpax privately as “alien scum polluting the streets”.</div>
