Andy: I'd like you to add our little spy here to the NPC's(although we don't know his name yet.) Also, if you think we should add a character who'll only be here for one mission(we hope), you can add him to the Registered NPC's list under my name.

"May I join you?" Zane asked of the CEO and OPS Manager.
"Of course Captain." Jenn waved towards the empty chair.
"What can I get for you sir?" The waiter who had miraculously
appeared asked.
Zane did a quick look to see what his companions were having
before deciding. "Uh, something quick....some bow-tie pasta and a glass
of my Inniskillen."
"Right away."
"So how's the chair?" Krysa asked with a grin.
Zane beamed. "Exactly what I wanted! Mr. Koreth and his
engineering teams are to be commended." The CEO nodded at the compliment.
"However," The Captain continued, "my spies tell me that once again you
didn't make it for shoreleave. I thought I was pretty clear on that
Lieutenant."
"I had every intention of taking some time on EPSILON" The CEO
lied, "but with the bridge refit, which I felt I had to supervise, and of
course the pre-departure briefing, not to mention all the extra repair
work after the so-called 'Jerran Maneuver'." He raised his hands in
surrender. "There was just no time."
"Yes, well," he unconsciously leaned back to allow the waiter to
place his order in front of him, "that seems to happen whenever we dock
but I don't want it to happen when we complete this mission. And to make
sure it doesn't I might even stick the morale 'officer' on the case."
"Sir?"
Zane jerked a thumb towards Bat who was in his trademark lean
polishing his trademark glass while singing his trademark song. Krysa
started to laugh. "Tarrant do your self a favour and take the
shore-leave. You don't want to get saddled with Bat. He'd drive you
nuts!"
"We shall see."
"So how did your phaser qualifications go?" Jenn asked, a little
smugly.
"Very well." Zane replied as he set his wine back down on the
table and buttered one of the whole-wheat buns. "Although it took a
little while to convince the computer to find and reload my original
qualification test."
"You didn't use the new one?"
"I was going to but I decided to drag Chief Larocque along with
me...part of his punishment." Zane grinned mischievously. "One of the
sections involves trudging through a tropical rainforest during a
torrential downfall. On one part of trail it gets very narrow and very
muddy..." He started to chuckle. "...and Mike always slips. The first
time we went through it he went flying down the side of the ravine and
wrapped his body around this rock and then slid into the swamp. We had to
actually disengage the program to pull him out." He was laughing much
harder now. "That's why his nickname is the "The Rock'"
"He told me it was a variation of his name in another dialect."
Jenn replied chuckling.
"Oh it is, it is. But that's not why we call him it."

Okay, its just a fluff piece. But my feeble brain is still addled by all
the running around of yesterday.
Its Wednesday now....lets say we enter the 'sack on Saturday. So that
gives us 2 days to get there and enjoy some character development etc, as
well as finalizing staffing ;)
