B. Background Summary
---------------------

Dmitri Grigori was born August 15, 2231 to his parents Aleksandrina and
Sergej Petrevovich. His father, skilled in hydroponics, was disabled after an on
the job accident when Greg was only four. His mother is a career homekeeper. Greg
entered the terran school system when he was five. He excelled in school but did
not make many friends. Initially it worried his teachers, but after a couple years
of keeping mostly to himself, it was deemed not to be interfering with his
development.

At the age of thirteen, Greg had attained a reputation of a "Lone Ranger." He started
taking up for his classmates that were picked on. He started getting into fights. On
one occasion, it was questionable as to whether or not he would be kicked out of
school. After that, he reverted back to a "Lone Wanderer." Greg always excelled in
academics, but had no sizeable interest in sports and recreation.

At age 16, Greg started drinking vodka heavily. He hid it from his parents and peers.
It took it's toll on him after a while. At age 18 he could not make a day with out
liter. He barely graduated the terran schools and was ineligible for Starfleet
service at the time. Instead he served as a local law enforcement officer. His addiction
continued untill his supervisors took an interest in it. Greg was placed on
administrative leave after he bludgeoned a man asking for directions.

Greg reluctantly participated in an addictions program. After successfully completing
the program, Greg returned to normal duty with a reprimand on his record. He also was
required to issue a formal apology to the man he injured. Greg never completely stopped
drinking. He just cut back his intake markedly.

VI. Recent Fitness Reports
==========================

Dmitri Petrevovich has a runners build; wirey. He reports running at least five
kilometers daily. If he is able to maintain his daily running, I don't forsee
any problems with his fitness during his career in Starfleet.

VII. Psychological Profile
==========================

Greg is an introvert. He is very hard to profile in general. It would appear that
he loathes humanity in general. His mere presence would be classified as almost
frightful to some people. During my interview with him, he never spoke freely and
was very reserved when he did speak. He has a past history of substance abuse,
which may have never been completely dealt with, though he did complete an addiction
program, there is still clear evidence that he never completely quit drinking. I am
recommending him for further evaluation every three months until changed by another
psychiatrist.
