In his 35+ year tenure in Star Fleet, Commodore Brickman has served
from one side of the galaxy to the other.  As a freshly-minted ensign,
he learned both self-reliance and patience when a shuttle accident left
him marooned on an unchartet planet for 17 months.  His shipboard tours
include the USS MANITOBA, USS VIGILANCE, the training vessel USS
VISION, and a scientific mission on the USS ARLES through the Bajoran
wormhole into the Gamma Quadrant.  His planetary and stationary tours
include SB 29, SB 253, attache to the Klingon Empire liason, and CO
of Deep Space 15.

IV. Personality Summary:
=======================

Commodore Brickman is extremely hands-on when it comes to getting
things done, and his results almost always speak for themselves.  
Although some would see his leadership style as micro-managing, he 
would describe it as making sure the job is done right the first time.  
Only after he gets to know those under his command and verified first-
hand that they are both trustworthy and sufficiently skilled/trained, 
does he "loosen the reigns".  Although this type of leadership has 
grated on many that have served under his command, over the years it 
has molded a core few that have proved so exceptionally loyal to him 
that he has publicly declared he would entrust to any of them "his 
life, his wife, or his wallet" without hesitation.
