Akata III

The Akata III Colony is divided in a residential district, "The Town", which houses most of the civilians; a business district, were most non-mining related jobs and entertainment facilities reside, a StarFleet building for the command of the region, although it's usually in orbit, in SB MAGELLAN, and several mining sites and corresponding miners' living quarters.

The current population is 55,000 people but increased operations suggest this will grow rapidly in the next years.

Important Iconian artifacts and a control room for the "Object" have been found in the New Site and are subject of intense research.
