JEFF:

I left the dimensions of the ship as approximates for you to finalize.

I didn't change a whole lot really since I was looking at this as being basically a lighter, smaller ENTERPRISE in a catamaran design. I really wanted to give it some commonality with the CONSTITUTIONS and make them almost as deadly for their size; my thinking being that she gave the PRIME ENTERPRISE a run for her money in WoK.

Check the phaser weaponry there and make sure it works for you.

I didn't change the deck plans yet, though I imagine I will have to at some point since we only have one hull to work with. If you want to adjust them, knock yourself out.

I think that's really it. You can edit my notes at the bottom if you want as well so they make more sense if something doesn't strike you as being right.

ALTON/ANDY:

Any suggestions either of you have would be most welcome. :)

Update SD 2262.008

I did a few things to bring her more in line with what the ORIGINS folks have been discussing:

1. I changed the background notes so that it reads more along what we had been discussing behind-the-scenes: that since Nero the "Hawks vs. Doves" internal power struggle had seen the Hawks gaining steam, and part of that evidence is MIRANDA herself. So I didn't make many notes about lab space and the like, instead focusing on its military capabilities.

2. I fixed the firing arcs on the phaser cannons so they actually make sense. Thought: We may want to think about limiting their firing so that you can't fire both fore and aft at the same time- perhaps they're linked through a single heavy capacitor that only allows the two forward or two aft cannons on the weapons bar to fire at one time.

3. I changed the deck plans to reflect a ship witrh far fewer decks. Jeff, you may want to look this over some...

Still leaving the crew complement to you, Jeff. :)
