UFP PINK PANTHER

Field Agent teams are issued a small SFSECIS craft for short to moderate length journeys in the UFP. However, for extreme distances agents may book commercial transport. Alternatively, they can utilize Star Fleet Spacelift Command and procure passage on a D-warp shuttle or in emergency situations ‘hitch’ a ride aboard a starship. All communications, sensor and computing devices are permanently linked to the agency's AI, Caesar.

SFSECIS Runabout

NAME: PINK PANTHER
REGISTRY: UFP Civilian Craft
TOP SPEED: Warp 5.5
EMERGENCY SPEED: Warp 5.8 for 6 hours
STANDARD OCCUPANCY: 4
EMERGENCY OCCUPANCY: 10
ARMAMENTS: 1 Pulse Phaser Array (concealed)
SHIELDING: Ablative armor + redundant Mark XII shielding systems
SUPPLIES: Small arms, restraints, emergency rations, medical kits, survival gear.

LAYOUT: from forward moving aft. 2-person cockpit, living/dining room area. Waste Extraction. Supplies closet. 2 sleeping quarters (2 bunks each) Cargo hold. Engineering access hatch. The PINK PANTHER is a renovated, retired SF Runabout, part of a subclass utilized by SECIS field agents. All of the SF markings and identifiers have been removed. SFE reconfigured the interior, converting two of the sleeping quarters into a small cargo hold.

The ship is agile and nimble, but in no way suited for a prolonged conflict. It's hoped the combined shielding is ample to allow the ships to get to friendly territory in times of attack.

Additionally, SFE 'roughed' up the ships to make them look a bit battered and well-used on the outside. Every SFSECIS ship has a direct tie-in to the Service's advanced Artificial Intelligence named Caesar. (A 25th century 'Alexa')
