INTRODUCTION
The Ferengi Alliance is an interstellar power governed by the rules of capitalism which placed a sacred importance on commerce and on the honoring of contractual obligations. While not militaristic, most Ferengi trading ships are armed and quite capable of self-defense. The largest commercial transports in the Alliance have armament comparable to warships of the first rate.
