Scene: Krysa's Holodeck<br>
Krysa laughed at the man in front of her. "Your ticket's just been
canceled!" She thought that it didn't quite match the quality of her
'unhand me, you pig,' remark, but it would do. She rushed the man,
surprising him completely, and knocking him off balance. She stood
poised for his attack as he stood, casually brushing the dirt of his
clothes. Right then, watching his confident advance on her, she
couldn't help but wish this program came with phasers.
Malk chuckled, "Did you really think that would be enough to stop me,
little girl."
"I didn't want to stop you, just throw you off guard," Krysa said
confidently, though she wasn't sure she could avoid him again. She
had no weapons and this man was twice her size. Right now she was
thinking that it might have been a good idea if she and Makayla had
listened to Alanth's words, and stayed at home.
<We had to help Paranth.> Came Makayla's calm reply.
<So why don't you get over here and help me now or we'll never be
able to help him.>
<I can't. His dragon won't give me room to take off.>
Krysa threw a quick glance toward the large black dragon who was
towering over the much smaller Makayla and Paranth, effectively
keeping them on the ground. She heard Malk's booming laughter as she
spun her head back to look at him, "See the baby dragon will be of no
help to you."
"No! Well, perhaps I will!" came a bellowing roar behind Krysa. Krysa
smiled, she didn't need to turn around to see who had come to her
rescue, she recognized the voice.
<Krysa, the great Yitaka has come to our rescue,> came Makayla's
voice in her head again, <And he brings a great warrior.>
"You are in trouble now, Malk Bromitz," she smirked. "Do you know who
that is?"
Malk growled turning his attention from her to the odd looking form
behind her. "What are you?" he growled.
"This is the great Warrior, Onta Maril," said Krysa, loving the turn
this had taken.
"He's not human." Said the villain with a wrinkled nose.
"No, I'm not, I'm Tamarian." said Onta. He pulled the sword from it's
scabbard and took a stance between Krysa and Malk.
Malk took a step back, "Stikor!" said the man in awe, "You have the
sword Stikor."
"Yes, I do. And I am prepared to use it against you."
Malk narrowed his eyes, "This is not over! I will return and I will
prevail." The man turned to his Dragon who moved to meet him. The
large man stepped up onto the dragons back and took off. Soon the
wraiths also began to disappear. Leaving only the fighting dragons
from Keldarra.
Krysa stepped up to Onta, "So where's your shining armor?" She
grinned. Onta's answer was drowned out by the roar of the Dragonlord
Alanth. Who settled down behind them shaking his head and roaring at
the two young dragons.
<Alanth is very mad at me, Krysa.> came the young dragon's plaintive
cry. <He says we should have stayed where we were told.
<He's probably right, but it was kinda fun.> chuckled Krysa. She
stopped laughing when the Dragonlord swung around and faced her and
Onta.
<You, human, could have killed my daughter! This was not a game! I
told her to stay at the Warren, yet you bring her here!>
"Please, I beg your forgiveness, great Alanth," said Krysa humbly. "I
was only trying to help." The dragon held her gaze for a moment, then
turned his head to Onta.
<You are a great warrior. We thank you for your help.>
"I didn't do much. He saw the sword and ran."
The dragon nodded, <Yes, Stikor strikes fear in the hearts of rogues.
I've no doubt this is only the beginning and that in the end Stikor
will not be enough. Wraiths working with Rogue dragons is not a good
sign. Those vile creature care only for what they can devour,
particularly dragon flesh. Why would they join with Rogue dragons?
Come let's return. There is much to discuss.>
The large dragon took off leaving the two starfleet officers watching
him. Krysa's smile returned as she looked at Onta, "I'm so glad you
could join me."
"So what is going to happen next?"
"Well, I'm not entirely sure. Though most likely we will return to
find their home under attack by more wraiths. There is a great battle
going on between the dragons dominion, and those that have been
banished. Somehow the rogues have gained the help of the dragons most
hated enemy, the wraiths."
"This is your program and you don't know exactly what to expect?"
asked Onta.
"Well, I only put in the guidelines of the world. So pretty much
anything can happen," she said grinning.
