Krysa watched the pirates being led away with satisfaction. Now it was up
to the three officers who would be incarcerated with the pirates, to get
the information that they needed.
She turned her attention back to the Klingon Bird of Prey, "How long before
they start to wonder why their away team hasn't been in contact with them?"
She asked really to no one. "Jenn to engineering"
<Ens. Hoffmen here.>
"Can you get our shields back up anytime soon?"
<Working on it now, ma'am, I'd say maybe in two hours or so.>
Krysa sighed and put her hand to her head. She had begun doing it without
thinking, as her headache made itself known. "Just keep me informed."
She'd already called to security to keep and eye for when Maril and the
others were ready to be released from the brig. Hopefully they'd have their
information soon. As if on cue, she heard the call from Security.
<Brig to Lt. Jenn>
"Jenn here."
<Commander Maril is on his way to the bridge>
"Excellent."
When the Tamarian stepped out of the turbo lift, Jenn smiled at him, "How
was the brig, sir?"
"Pretty cozy, Lt." He grinned back, then got down to business, "We need to
get back to the base."
"Well, sir, we still have that Klingon Bird of Prey just outside to worry
about and I have an away team in the abandoned building below." She filled
the Commander in on all that had happened with the Husnock ship, and their
mission to prevent it from making it to the base.
"I hope you'll forgive me, Commander, but you three might be recognized as
being allied with these pirates. It might be difficult for you to get any
more information down there."
Maril considered her statements, but before he could speak, Jenn once again
doubled over with her hands to her head.
"Krysa? Are you alright."
Jen Cartwright moved to help the commander with the Ops officer. "This
happened earlier as well."
Krysa couldn't hear them as her mind focused on the intrusion .. It was
like a thousand voices all screaming at once in her head, and she couldn't
force it out. Her telepathic defenses so unused for so long, were sadly out
of shape.
Regards,<br>
Lt. Krysa Jenn<br>
