Introduction

Welcome to the central database for the Constitution-Class starship USS Hood. The Hood is one of Starfleet's 12 Constitution-class exploration vessels, her mandate being "to explore strange new worlds...to seek out new life, and new civilizations" on the frontiers of the galaxy.

Hood is part of ASR: ORIGINS, which is based on the alternate timeline set in the 2009 Star Trek movie. If you are interested in more information about the Hood, send a note to Andy Catterick, who plays the Commanding Officer of the Hood. Or, if you want to learn more about ORIGINS in general, please contact CDOR Joseph Carstairs, the Liaison officer for ORIGINS, played by Scott Lusby.

What is ASR: ORIGINS?

Alt.StarFleet.RPG: ORIGINS (or ASR: ORIGINS) is a shared-fiction, play-by-e-mail role-playng game. Using email, ORIGINS players create an interactive fiction universe based on the 2009 Star Trek movie in the year 2260. Players create characters and, along with other players, develop stories set around the missions of the classic Constitution-class starships of the era, and the various beings that inhabit them. ORIGINS, founded in 2009, has grown to 4 role-playing units, involving almost 40 players. It continues to draw players new and old.

To learn more about ASR: ORIGINS, you can visit the wiki portal. At this page, you can find instructions on how to join ASR: ORIGINS, as well as other official documents, and links to other starship homepages.
