Lauren grew up Star Ships and Federation Out posts as the daughter of a diplomat. Surprising  her parents by joining the Marines rather than go into the Diplomatic Corps. She has a very deep dedication to her duty and her daughter, who lives with her parents on Andor while she's deployed.  Her Husband was killed in action a the battle of Escelon V where she was gravely wounded too.
