Persons appointed to the role of DDCID will coordinate the activities of all subordinate divisions in order to successfully accomplish the Directorate’s Core Mission Goal of detecting, deterring, and disrupting terrorism attacks against any Star Fleet service component unit and/or individual(s) initiated by Foreign Intelligence Entities (FIE), political entities, or other radical individuals or organizations.<br>
DDCTD is expected to interpret and execute the SFSECIS Strategic Vision and ensure adherence to the required Service Standards of Excellence in all assigned units as established by the DIC and approved by the FJIC.<br>
This Directorate, under the supervision of the DDCTD, is the lead unit for the execution of strategies and operations in order to protect Star Fleet/SFMC forces from violent extremist organizations and individuals. One of SFSECIS' highest priorities is focused on countering threats to the physical security of Star Fleet officers & crewpersons, Marines, and Star Fleet civilian personnel and on preventing terrorist attacks against installations, ships, and expeditionary forces throughout the United Federation of Planets.<br>
