''Coventry'' has returned from it's mission to the homeworld of the Beings, having left the ''USS Tempest'' and her task force to dealt with the aftermath of the coupe.
''Coventry'' has completed its first refit. Captain Peter J. Erickson, the first captain of Coventry has retired. Command passed to Captain Alexander Nelson. ''Coventry'' is scheduled for a joint mission with the Klingons.  


But...the reach of the Black TIde Cartel has proven to be a long one, one thats reaches out to Earth.
Now, Captain Erickson and his crew, along with members from the ''Starship Kronshdtat'' must join forces to uncover the whereabouts of one of their own:  the son of Captain Peter Erickson.
